Abstract
It is easy to create a heavyweight, hard to maintain design and it takes practice and experience to go in the opposite lightweight, pragmatic direction. At the same time, repeatedly doing the same thing for years will not yield better results. Thankfully there are some principles we can learn and apply to create better design. In this class, we will take an example driven approach to pick a few problems, discuss ways to design them, along the way bring in some principles that can provide better clarity for the approaches we can take. This class will help you to step back and reconsider the approaches to create extensible and maintainable design.
